There's a playfulness in Amanda's music - and indeed, in her life - that's deceptive. But as the 1900's come to a close, the Miami-based singer/songwriter is truly coming into her own as a major artist and unique voice to be taken very, very seriously. Her 1996 debut CD Junk and Stuff was a bold mix of edgy rockers and introspective ballads, layered with dazzling sonic touches. Her second full-length CD The Nineteen Hundreds demonstrates Green's natural maturation as a songwriter with fully realized compositiions.
