artist information

Musical styles come and go. However lyrics transcend the constraints of time. Rhett's strength is his words. Complimented by the Pawnshop Drunks, which include Tony Medina on lead guitar, Mark Binko on bass, Ryan Sambrook on keyboards, Roly Lugo on drums and Tony Suarez on percussion, Rhett couldn't be accused of holding anything back. The piano driven Honey Your Knees, Rolling Stones influenced Aeroplanes, and lyric driven, Dylanesque, Crack in the Door are a clear indication of his passion for the word and given his past, he has a hell of a lot of material to work through.

Beast and Company was a music and satire show that aired at SlipstreamPresents.com throughout 1999. During its run many fine songwriters stopped by for an on-air chat and to premier their latest songs. This disc contains just a small sample of the wonderful acoustic music captured on those occasions.
