Silver Nightingale is flautist/composer Laura Sue Wilansky. She is renowned for both her angelic, heart-touching flute music and her dedication to community service. Performing solo and in various ensembles, Silver Nightingale's music ranges from playful Brazilian chorinhos to meditative flute solos to stately Bach minuets and lively Celtic tunes. Her new CD, Sarabande, highlights her solo flute repertoire, and the title track has been featured on nationally-syndicated radio show "The Romantic Hours." She is currently in production for her second CD, Return to Avalon, recorded live at sacred sites throughout England and France.
