The Avenging Lawnmowers of Justice are not your average musical group... and they like it that way! Surrounded by the current crap... I mean, crop of doom and gloom rock bands, The Lawnmowers revel in the fact that oddity is a commodity, with their own brand of sharp, bright, hook laden pop tunes. The songs are concise, seldom clocking in at more that three minutes each, and deal with subjects as disparate as cannibalism, credit card debt, worms, puppets, cellphones, alien abduction, automobile accidents, and Jules Vernesque inventions, to name but a few. When they do deal with common topics (such as love), they always find a way to look at it from the twisted side of town. | |
