Pop culture has spawned some pretty bizarre entities. Trophy Wife may be one of them. Mixed in with some pleasant pop ballads like "I Believe" and "Am I Real" are such strange topics as "Martha Stewart" ("She's super woman with a spatula gun"), "Tasty Snacks" ("I'm just a slave to the Ding Dong ho") and "Tall Chicks" ("Tall chicks really make me sick...I hope that model witch gets her foot stuck in a deep ditch"). The band can also rock as in "On Fire", "Bad Girls" and "Love and Hate." Besides writing all the material, Karen Feldner is also the "chick -singer" (that's how it's listed on the CD), plays guitars, keyboards and harmonica.
